Having started Hurricanes over 2 decades ago, Co-founder and CEO Tony Teixeira had a dream to create a new casual dining experience for meat and seafood lovers. He wanted to draw on his traditional Portuguese, South African and Modern Australian influences, using premium quality Australian produce and a unique grilling style. His vision was to create a well-rounded menu that would feature a multitude of simple combinations that customers would love.
Hurricane’s Grill & Bar Surfers Paradise is located on Level 1 of the iconic Soul boardwalk. They are a fully licensed, 300 seater steakhouse restaurant with a large lounge bar and sweeping beachfront views. Specialising in premium quality steaks and ribs; their menu includes Hurricane’s classic 100% grass fed beef burgers, Portuguese and BBQ chicken, fresh seafood and speciality salads.
