As it turns out, the Gold Coast is quite the good-looking city, all green mountains and sparkly beaches and the like. We also boast some next-level eateries slash drinking holes, many of which can be found overlooking said mountains and beaches.

Because we want you to live your very best life, we’ve compiled a list of restaurants with the most spectacular views across the Coast so you can both enjoy tasty eats and marvel at magical views.

From north to south, here they are. Bring on the weekend (again).

Eagle Heights Mountain Resort
This view is certainly something to write home about. Make your way up the mountain and treat yourself to lunch at Eagle Heights Mountain Resort. They do an exceptional feast, frosty cold beers and, best of all; you can enjoy absolutely stunning views of the entire Gold Coast from the mountains, past the city line and out to the ocean. It doesn’t get much better than that.
Where: 1683 Tamborine Oxenford Road, Mt Tamborine

Black Angus Bar and Grill
Right up north, overlooking the stunning Sanctuary Cove Marina is Black Angus Bar and Grill. Specialising in all things steak and seafood, the venue is open from lunch until late daily. Perhaps the most exciting things on the menu come with a sizzling Hot Rock so you can cook your own goodies. Fun and five star food, what more could you want.
Where: 46 The Promenade, Hope Island

Fellini Ristorante and Bar
Oh Italian food, how we love you so. Especially when we get to overlook the fancy boats and sparkly waters of Marina Mirage while we sample you. Thank you Fellini Ristorante and Bar for making this possible. Get up there for an absolutely epic pasta feast, and a glass of wine to match of course, and watch the world sail on by.
Where: Level 2, Marina Mirage, Seaworld Drive, Main Beach

Seaduction Restaurant + Bar
One of the Coast’s premiere hatted restaurants, Seaduction boasts both an elegant dining setting and some of the very best food around. Indulge in the fresh seafood table, or treat yourself to a tasty lunch and a cocktail or two. An unforgettable experience and all overlooking Surfers Paradise beach.
Where: Peppers Soul, The Esplanade Surfers Paradise

Videre Restaurant
Found on Level 21 at RACV Royal Pines Resort, Videre offers some of the most beautiful views there are in the world. Overlooking both the pristine golf course, the city and the ocean in the distance, enjoy one of the best menus on offer, or High Tea on the weekends, and marvel at the beauty of our stunning coastline.
Where: RACV Royal Pines Resort, Ross St, Benowa

Kurrawa Surf Club
The recently revamped surf club in the heart of Broadbeach has long been loved for its’ laidback, ocean side vibes and as such, has earned a place here. Kurrawa can be found right on the beach with uninterrupted beach views and plenty of tasty eats to try. Perfect for the family or just a relaxing Sunday arvo with your crew.
Where: Beachside, Old Burleigh Rd, Broadbeach

Rick Shores
Obviously. You’re practically dining in the ocean at this Burleigh beauty. Found right on the sand and with the salty spray of the beach coating the windows, it doesn’t get much better than dining (and drinking) at Rick Shores. Their share plate menu is filled with absolute taste sensations and the cocktails are pure perfection.
Where: Goodwin Tce, Burleigh Heads

Currumbin Beach Vikings SLSC
Makes sense that surf clubs have got the goods when it comes to sweet, sweet views. Currumbin SLSC is perhaps the most popular on the Coast, in particular due to views of the entire coastline from Surfers to Tweed. The club sits right on the sand with the ocean washing in underneath and it’s really quite magical when you think about it. The food is good and there are many fun vibes to soak up too.
Where: 741 Pacific Pde, Currumbin

Café Dbar
It’s long been a favourite amongst both locals and visitors and it’s not hard to see why. The two storey space overlooking Dbah beach and some of the best surf on the Coast while also offering an art gallery slash café and a little takeaway bar that will make all your milkshake and hot chip dreams come true. Bulk fun times have been had here, go see for yourself.
Where: 275 Boundary St, Coolangatta
