Movie World has the suspended rollercoaster Lethal Weapon, the Police Academy Stunt Show and Batman -The Ride, plus the all-new Looney Tunes Village for toddlers, the Wild Wild West adventure ride, is for the truly daring. Definitely a ride for cowboys not cowards, Wild Wild West is an action packed, six minute adventure propelled by more than a million litres of wicked water. The biggest surprise is saved for last - a 20 metre, 70 kilometres an hour, heart stopping drop to the final splashdown! Movie World on Queensland's Gold Coast is located only 20 minutes north of Surfers Paradise on the Gold Coast and one hour south from Brisbane. Movie World Gold Coast opening hours are 10am - 5.00pm all year round (exception over peak season 26 Dec 05 – 8 Jan 06 when Movie World opens at 9.30am and closes at 5.30pm) Closed Christmas Day, 25 December. Restricted trading hours apply on ANZAC Day, Australia's National Day of Remembrance on 25 April, with the park opening at 1:30pm.
