We are a retreat like no other in the world.
Since we opened our doors just over three years ago we have served over 1000 clients whom needed a break or had a serious health issue to deal with. We operate within a working Organic farm in Maleny, (right next to the Glasshouse Mountains) Queensland. One of the most beautiful spots on this earth.
We serve only from 10-16 guests at any one time. We grow much of our own Organic food on site. The farm is spread over 30 acres including 3 acres of lakes and creeks. The retreat also encompass our own Hot Mineral Water Baths complex with Spa facility which utilises our Spring water from underneath the mountain we sit upon.
We inherited over 300 avocados trees but have since planted another 1800 mixed food trees.Our first tropical apples are just flowering now.
Most guests come by themselves to retreat and the majority are women. You can join us for 2 night Tune Up right through to our 20 day plus change your life program. You can come for a serious health issue like cancer or depression or just to quit the fags or relax and chill. It is all your choice.
The opportunity to truly chill out and relax at Fountainhead has been enhanced by the opening of its own, hot mineral water baths complex.
Nature gives us our natural spring water from deep inside the mountain. Right underneath our organic farm. We filter it, heat it – and then bathe in it. There is water, water everywhere and even some to drink.
The Baths include a heated 25 metre pool lap pool, a dead sea salt spa, a hot mineral water pool, (34C), and a Turkish steam room.
All retreat guests have complete run of the baths from 7am tp 7pm 7 days per week.
