The Gold Coast has never experienced a retail development like this. The multi-staged $300 million landmark expansion of QIC\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s Robina Town Centre will create the Gold Coast\\\\\\\'s premier retail and leisure destination. Located at the epicentre of one of Australia\\\\\\\'s strongest growing regions, this project is possibly the most attractive retail opportunity in decades.
We are delighted to announce the first phase of the expansion is now complete. A new world-class fashion mall opened in mid-November 2008 and features some of Australia\\\\\\\'s most exciting and iconic brands from more than 30 leading design houses. This eclectic and cosmopolitan mix of fashion, beauty and accessories is further enhanced by the completion of the multi-million dollar refurbishment of David Jones.
More exciting changes are set to continue for Robina Town Centre in 2009. In Autumn, the centre will welcome a next generation, 10,000 square metre Big W; a second Woolworths store; a state-of-the-art, 900-seat food court with up to 14 dining options on offer; and a further 140 new fashion and specialty stores.
Following this will be the opening of the Centre\\\\\\\'s landmark entertainment, dining and leisure precinct, to be known as The Promenade. This beautiful lakeside precinct, which is expected to open towards the middle of 2009, will feature a collection of restaurants and cafés, new children\\\\\\\'s playgrounds and a brand new multi-million dollar cinema complex - including Robina and the Gold Coasts first V-MAX cinema!
