Surf Safety:
Although the sea may look inviting, it can be very dangerous. Rips and tides unseen to the untrained eye can take lives. Always swim between the flags at designated lifesaving clubs on the Gold Coast. Never swim without telling someone where you are going. Never swim under the influence of alcohol, be water wise and enjoy our beaches responsibly.
Sun Safety:
When enjoying our beautiful Queensland sun always remember to apply 30+ sunscreen, wear a hat and a collared shirt. Avoid sun burn by protecting yourself, especially between the hours of 10am and 2pm.
